Enrichment Classes that are more academic and cerebral for 3 and 4-year olds have been a part of our curriculum for many years. The cost is included in the tuition. So all children are receiving the benefit of a more enhanced education in the fields of Science, Phonics, Math and Spanish. Each subject is taught twice a week through 30-minute classes. You will be receiving progress reports periodically on how each group is advancing.
While the Academic Enrichment Classes are going on daily, we still offer the athletic and recreational style enrichment programs through outside specialists for a small extra charge. Please do look into these because they are not only fun but teach your child team work, new skills, build physical stamina and self confidence.

* Measurement * Agebra by recreating patterns and making their own patterns. Create patterns from a simple repeating pattern such as “red, blue, red, blue” to a more complex pattern such as “red, red, blue, red, red, blue.” They also notice growing patterns such as “1, 2, 3, 4” or “2, 4, 6, 8.” …and much more

* Experimenting with magnets
* Exploring the 5 senses -Identifying & categorizing objects based on sight, smell, hearing, taste, touch

* Putting words together to make sentences and counting the number of words in a sentence
* Phoneme Matching: Example “What sound starts the words b-b-bat and b-b-bowl?”
* Phoneme Manipulation Replacing the beginning, middle or end sound of a word to make a new word
* Separating sentences into words, compound words into smaller words, words into syllables & syllables into sounds.
* Letters and sounds
* Write the alphabet (uppercase & lowercase)
* Retell & respond to stories
